Horses may be big but they respond very well to small amounts of YL oils

Aren't they worth the Best?

I have worked with a lot of horses and I have found that it really doesn’t take a lot of the YL oils or supplements to be very effective. The Young Living EO’s are the only essential oils that I use on people or animals.  They are Therapeutic Grade with the AFNOR / ISO standard which is the European standard of testing and the very highest grade of essential oils in the world

It is my experience that most emergencies happen after business hours and on weekends when vets are hard to find, especially in rural areas!!  These products give us amazing tools to turn a bad situation around.

Some people believe that due to their size they are going to use great amounts and that really isn’t the case. Most horses are fed well, no additives or preservatives, no junk food like people do for dogs…and little sugar.  So their bodies are much less polluted than humans!  Horses that have the freedom of pastures to graze in know their plants they know succulent  treats and also the plants they have to avoid. They know aromas and taste.  They are so very intelligent, one horse that was coming into the barn where I was waiting knocked his handler over in his haste to get to the source of the smells and her hurried over and stuck his nose right into my bag of oils.   They respond very quickly to small amounts more isn't always better. I have used up to 26 drops in one application of one kind of oil for severe cases, like Basil for strained muscles. I have used it in conjunction with other oils.  But normally I use 6-12 drops of any given oil.
